The Ohlins KA145 STX 36 Twin is a rear twin-shock unit for the Kawasaki ER-5, built around a gas-pressurised damping system for consistent control. It is intended to improve rear-end stability and feel by keeping damping behaviour predictable across changing road and load conditions. This is a dedicated replacement shock absorber assembly designed for street fitment.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear twin-shock design using Ohlins STX 36 Twin architecture. The gas pressure helps reduce aeration and maintain damping consistency as conditions change.

The KA145 uses separate damping circuits for compression and rebound, allowing independent adjustment to refine support and control. This makes it possible to tailor the shock response to rider preference and typical road conditions.
