The Ohlins STX 46 Adventure rear shock for Yamaha XTZ 660 is built to deliver controlled damping and consistent feel across mixed terrain and long-distance riding. Designed as a direct-fit rear mono shock, it targets stability, comfort and traction when conditions change. The STX architecture is intended to maintain predictable behaviour over repeated impacts and varying loads.

Shock design & features

This is a monotube design with a separated oil and gas system for stable damping behaviour during extended use. It is supplied as a complete rear shock unit for the Yamaha XTZ 660, fitted with the specified spring.

Tuning controls

External damping adjustment is provided for rebound and compression, along with a spring preload adjuster for setting ride height and load support. These controls allow you to balance comfort, traction and chassis stability to suit terrain and luggage.
