The Ohlins YA239 STX 36 Supersport rear shock absorber is built for Yamaha R15 applications where consistent damping control and clear chassis feedback matter. Developed from Ohlins racing know-how, it is intended to support stable handling under acceleration, cornering and braking. This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design to help maintain damping consistency during demanding use.

As part of the STX 36 Supersport family, this unit focuses on predictable grip and feel with a performance-oriented internal layout. It is designed as a direct-fit rear mono shock for the R15 platform and replaces YA229.
