The Ohlins YA819 STX 46 Adventure rear shock is built to improve control and consistency on the Yamaha Ténéré 700 Extreme and Ténéré 700 World Raid. Developed for mixed-surface riding, it supports stability when conditions and loads change. External adjustments let you fine-tune the feel to suit terrain, pace and payload.

Shock design & features

This is an Ohlins STX 46 Adventure rear mono shock using a gas-separated design for consistent damping under heat and repeated impacts. The construction is aimed at durability for harsh conditions and extended use away from sealed roads.

Tuning controls

External adjusters are provided for rebound damping and compression damping, along with spring preload adjustment. These controls allow you to balance comfort, traction and stability as terrain and load change.
