CFMOTO 450MT Complete Suspension Upgrade

The CFMOTO 450MT delivers a lot for the money, including fully adjustable KYB suspension that is better than we would normally expect at this price point. But once the bike is pushed harder off-road, the limitations become much more obvious.

Our complete workshop suspension upgrade addresses both ends of the bike as a matched package. The forks receive our dedicated 450MT upgrade kit together with linear-rate springs selected for the rider, while the rear shock is upgraded with our developed valving package and a correctly selected shock spring.

At the front, the upgrade improves damping control, reduces excessive brake dive and makes the compression and rebound adjusters far more effective. The stock progressive fork springs are also replaced with linear-rate springs, giving the front end a more predictable response through the stroke.

At the rear, the standard shock uses good-quality KYB components but is over-sprung and under-damped for more demanding adventure riding. Our shock upgrade improves damping balance and control, while the correct spring rate allows the rear suspension to work properly for the rider and load.

Together, these changes give the 450MT a more balanced chassis with improved support, traction and control across corrugations, rocky terrain, braking bumps and general adventure riding.

Workshop & Shipping Options

The advertised price is based on the forks and rear shock being supplied to us already removed from the motorcycle.

If you would prefer to bring the complete motorcycle to our Sydney workshop, we can remove and refit the suspension for an additional $300.

For interstate customers, our Suspension Shipping Box provides a convenient way to send your forks and shock to us and have the completed suspension returned.

Please Note

Consumable service parts such as seals, bushes, bumpers and other worn components are not included in the package price. These will only be replaced where required and charged additionally.
