Suzuki DR-Z400E / S / SM – Stage 1 Suspension Workshop Upgrade

Our Stage 1 suspension package upgrades the original Suzuki DR-Z400 forks and rear shock using Teknik's dedicated valving kits and springs matched to rider weight and intended use.

Developed through extensive suspension testing, this package improves damping control, traction and stability while retaining the original Showa suspension components.

What's Included

Teknik DR-Z400 Fork Upgrade Kit – 25-031-02: Installation of our developed fork valving kit to improve compression and rebound damping control.
Fork Springs: Replacement springs matched to rider weight, luggage and riding conditions.
Teknik DR-Z400 Shock Upgrade Kit – 25-066-30: Installation of our dedicated shock piston and valving upgrade kit to improve rear suspension performance.
Shock Spring: Replacement spring selected to suit rider weight and intended use.
Complete Suspension Service: Strip, inspection, cleaning and reassembly of the forks and rear shock.
Fork Seals: New fork oil seals and dust seals included.
Genuine KYB Suspension Oils: Replacement of fork and shock fluids using genuine KYB suspension oils.
Suspension Dyno Testing: Verification of damping performance following the upgrade.

Additional Parts & Installation

The quoted price includes replacement fork oil seals and dust seals. Other worn or damaged components, such as suspension bushes and shock bumpers, are excluded.

Any additional parts required will be charged at component cost only, with no additional labour charges for their installation during the scheduled suspension upgrade.

Motorcycle Removal & Refit: The quoted price covers suspension work only. Removal and refitting of the suspension to the motorcycle is available for an additional $300 if required.
