The Tractive X-PERIENCE shock for the Triumph Street Scrambler is a closed, pressurised damper designed to improve control and consistency across varying road surfaces. Its oil and gas are separated by an internal piston (not an emulsion design), helping maintain stable damping during longer rides. This unit is supplied with a spring and a remote (hose) hydraulic preload adjuster for easy ride-height and load changes without tools.

Design & features

  • Closed, pressurised design for consistent damping and reduced fade over long or rough rides
  • Oil/gas separation piston (not emulsion) to maintain stable performance as conditions change
  • Remote (hose) hydraulic preload adjuster to simplify changes for luggage or a passenger
  • Supplied with a spring

Tuning Controls

  • Rebound damping adjustment
  • Hydraulic preload adjustment via remote adjuster

Base Setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with a factory baseline setup intended as a practical starting point. Fine-tuning rebound and preload should be based on rider weight, typical load, and riding conditions.

Who is this for?

  • Riders who want straightforward tuning with rebound adjustment and easy preload changes for mixed solo/two-up use
  • Street Scrambler owners prioritising comfort and control for commuting, weekend rides, and touring
  • Anyone who prefers a closed, pressurised shock architecture for consistent feel across longer rides

Before You Install

  • Confirm compatibility for your specific Street Scrambler variant and model year before fitting
  • Allow access for routing and mounting the remote preload adjuster (hose) in a protected, reachable location
  • Set sag and preload first, then fine-tune rebound to suit your typical roads and load

Serviceability/Lifecycle

This is a serviceable, pressurised shock design intended for ongoing maintenance rather than disposal. Periodic servicing helps keep damping consistent over the long term.
