The Tractive X-TREME Shock for the BMW F 800 GS Adventure is a closed, pressurised rear shock built around a sealed cartridge architecture. This design keeps the damping circuit stable under sustained use and helps reduce aeration compared with open designs. It is configured as a triple-adjustable unit, giving separate external control over key damping functions.

Design & features

  • Closed, pressurised shock with a sealed cartridge design to help maintain consistent damping and oil control.
  • Remote reservoir layout to increase oil volume and support stable performance over longer, rougher rides.
  • Spring-equipped configuration.

Tuning Controls

  • Triple-adjustable damping, providing external adjustment for rebound and both compression circuits.

Who is this for?

  • Riders who want broad damping tunability for mixed-surface riding and changing loads.
  • Owners who value a pressurised, sealed-cartridge shock architecture for consistency during demanding conditions.

Before You Install

  • Confirm fitment for your exact BMW F 800 GS Adventure model and year before installation.
  • Set sag and baseline adjuster positions after installation, then fine-tune based on load and riding conditions.

Serviceability/Lifecycle

  • Built as a serviceable performance shock intended for periodic maintenance to keep damping consistent over time.

Need Help Choosing?

  • If you are unsure whether you need triple adjustment or a remote reservoir configuration for your riding and load, provide your bike details and typical use so the correct setup can be confirmed.
