The Ohlins STX 46 Supersport rear shock for the Ducati 851 Biposto is built to deliver stable, controlled damping with clear chassis feedback. Designed for consistent performance under demanding road and track use, it focuses on predictable grip and composure through corners and under braking. This unit uses a separated oil/gas design to help maintain damping consistency during sustained riding.

STX 46 Supersport shocks are developed from Ohlins race engineering, then refined for real-world rideability. The result is a rear shock that prioritises control and repeatability while retaining a broad tuning range.

Shock design & features

STX architecture with separated oil and gas to support consistent damping feel.
Designed as a rear mono shock application for the Ducati 851 Biposto fitment.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tailor chassis response for braking support, corner stability, and drive grip to suit your tyres and riding conditions.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with a baseline setting intended to be a solid starting point for the standard Ducati 851 Biposto configuration. Fine-tuning rebound and compression from the base setup is typically used to match rider preference, road surface, and track pace.

Before you install

Confirm correct fitment for Ducati 851 Biposto and inspect mounting hardware condition before installation.
After installation, check sag and verify adjusters move freely through their range before final road or track use.
