The Ohlins STX 46 Supersport rear shock for Ducati 749R is built around a track-focused monotube architecture aimed at delivering consistent damping feel and clear chassis feedback. It uses a gas-pressurised design to help maintain damping stability during sustained hard use. This unit is designed to support accurate suspension tuning without complicating the overall package.

Developed from Ohlins racing experience, the STX 46 Supersport family is intended for riders who prioritise stability and traction when pushing on track. The design focus is predictable response through corner entry, mid-corner support and drive on exit.
