The Ohlins HO348 STX 46 Supersport rear shock is built for riders chasing improved chassis control and clearer feedback from the rear tyre on a Honda CBR1000RR. It uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated damping design to help maintain consistency under demanding use. External adjusters let you tailor the suspension balance to suit your riding and tyres.

Developed from Ohlins racing experience, the STX 46 Supersport platform focuses on stable damping performance and predictable feel. It is intended as a direct-fit performance rear mono shock for the CBR1000RR.

Who this shock is for

Suited to riders who want more control during braking, turn-in and corner exit compared with a basic OEM shock. It is a strong match for regular track days as well as performance road riding where consistent rear support and traction matter.

Shock design & features

This unit is a gas-pressurised shock with oil/gas separation to support stable damping behaviour through repeated heat cycles. The internal layout is designed to deliver clear feedback and maintain traction when the pace increases.

Tuning controls

The shock provides external rebound damping adjustment and compression damping adjustment, along with spring preload adjustment. These controls allow you to fine-tune rear grip, ride support and chassis attitude to your setup.

Before you install

Confirm the shock is intended for rear mono fitment on your Honda CBR1000RR and check clearance around the linkage and exhaust. After installation, set sag and re-check fasteners after the first ride to ensure everything beds in correctly.
