Information

The Ohlins TTX 30 rear shock is built for KTM 50 SX riders chasing predictable feel and consistent damping in motocross conditions. It uses a gas-pressurised design to help maintain damping control as temperatures and loads change through a moto. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing you to match spring rate to rider weight and track demands.

Developed from Ohlins racing suspension know-how, the TTX 30 platform focuses on control and feedback rather than harshness. The result is a rear end that stays composed through braking bumps and supports cleaner drive out of corners.

Tuning controls

This rear shock includes external compression and rebound damping adjustments, so you can tune support and traction to suit track conditions, rider style, and tyre choice.

Before you install

No spring is supplied; the correct spring is selected separately (refer to the stated spring series note).
Use the recommended Ohlins suspension oil as specified for the product family.
After installation, set sag and damping from a sensible baseline before making single-change adjustments.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like any performance shock, regular servicing helps maintain damping consistency and seal life. Service intervals depend on hours, conditions, and washing practices, so plan maintenance as part of your race/ride routine.
