The Ohlins TTX 30 rear shock for KTM 65 SX is built around consistent damping control for motocross use. It uses a pressurised design to help maintain stable performance as conditions change through a moto. Adjustment is provided to let you tailor chassis attitude and traction to your track and riding style.

Developed from Ohlins off-road racing experience, this unit is intended to deliver controlled wheel movement and clear feedback through changing loads. The aim is predictable behaviour under braking, through turns, and on acceleration.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised shock absorber with separated oil/gas to support damping consistency. The internal architecture uses dedicated damping circuits to manage wheel control across a wide range of impacts and chassis movements.

Tuning controls

External adjustment is provided for compression and rebound damping. These adjusters allow you to balance comfort versus support, manage traction on corner exit, and control how quickly the shock returns after an impact.

Before you install

  • No spring is supplied; a compatible spring must be selected and fitted separately.
  • Confirm fitment for your KTM 65 SX and set sag and damping from a sensible baseline before fine tuning.
  • Use the recommended Ohlins shock oil as specified by Ohlins for this model when servicing.

Serviceability/lifecycle

This shock is designed to be serviced and revalved as required. Regular oil and seal maintenance helps keep damping consistent and reduces wear over time, especially in dusty or high-hour motocross use.
