The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for the Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit is built to improve control and consistency in everyday road riding. It uses a monotube design intended to deliver stable damping behaviour across a wide range of conditions. The focus is on predictable chassis support and clearer feedback without compromising practicality.

Who this shock is for

Suited to Bandit riders who want more confidence from the rear end in corners, under braking, and when accelerating onto straights. It’s also a sensible option if your original shock is tired and you want a modern replacement with proper adjustability.

Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas separated, gas-pressurised monotube rear shock (not an emulsion design). The layout is intended to maintain damping stability over longer, harder rides and help reduce fade compared with non-pressurised designs.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to balance comfort, grip and chassis control. These external adjusters are designed to make meaningful changes without requiring internal revalving for typical street use.

Before you install

Confirm the shock is matched to your specific Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit model and any fitted accessories that affect ride height or clearance. For best results, set sag and check linkage/bush condition before finalising your damping settings.

Serviceability/lifecycle
