The Ohlins YA1692 is a rear TTX 44 shock absorber developed for Yamaha YZ 125 and YZ 250 two-stroke motocross models. It uses a pressurised design to keep damping consistent when conditions are rough and runs are long. Built around Ohlins’ race suspension architecture, it’s intended to deliver clear chassis feedback and predictable grip.

TTX technology is designed around controlled, repeatable damping behaviour so the bike stays composed through braking bumps, landings and acceleration chop. The goal is usable traction and stability rather than a harsh “locked up” feel.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external damping adjustment for both compression and rebound, allowing you to tune feel for track conditions, rider preference and tyre grip.
