The Ohlins YA1694 TTX 44 rear shock is built for motocross and enduro riders chasing consistent damping control and clear chassis feedback. Based on Ohlins’ twin-tube TTX architecture, it’s designed to keep the rear end composed through braking bumps, corner entry and acceleration. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing you to select a rate to suit rider weight and use.

Shock design & features

Tuning controls

The shock provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, letting you balance traction, support and recovery speed to suit track grip and bump severity.

Before you install

  • No spring is supplied. Fit the correct spring rate for your weight and riding, using the specified spring series noted for this unit.
  • Use the recommended Ohlins shock oil for servicing and setup consistency.
  • After installation, set sag and confirm clicker positions from the factory baseline before making track-side changes.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like all performance shocks, it requires periodic servicing to keep damping consistent and to protect internal components. Regular oil changes and inspection of seals and wear items are important, especially in dusty or high-hour motocross use.
