The Ohlins YA898 STX 46 Adventure rear shock is built for Yamaha Ténéré 700 riders who want controlled suspension behaviour across mixed terrain and changing loads. It’s designed to maintain stability and traction when the surface is rough, without making the bike feel vague or wallowy. Adjustability is provided so you can tune the feel to your riding and conditions.

Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas separated monotube design intended to keep damping consistent over long rides. The layout supports controlled movement through the stroke and aims to reduce harshness from sharp impacts while maintaining chassis stability.
