The Ohlins DU015 STX 46 Adventure rear shock is built to improve control and consistency for Ducati ST 4 riders in adventure and touring use. It is designed to maintain stability over rough surfaces and when the bike is loaded for longer days. This is an oil/gas separated shock design for more consistent damping under demanding conditions.

Ohlins suspension is engineered with a focus on damping control, ride support and repeatable performance across changing conditions. The STX Adventure platform is aimed at mixed-surface riding where comfort and composure matter as much as feedback.

Shock design & features

This rear mono shock uses a separated oil/gas layout to help keep damping stable during long, rough rides. It is part of the Ohlins STX 46 Adventure family and is intended to deliver controlled movement and predictable support through a wide range of conditions.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tune feel and chassis balance to your load and riding conditions. Spring preload adjustment lets you set ride height and support for solo riding, luggage, or a pillion.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for Ducati ST 4 and check clearance around exhaust, linkages and bodywork.
Set sag and preload for your typical load, then fine-tune rebound and compression to match road and surface conditions.
Inspect bearings/bushes and linkage condition during installation to ensure the suspension can move freely.
