The Tractive X-CITE shock for the BMW F 800 GS is a closed, pressurised mono shock designed to deliver consistent damping over a wide range of conditions. Its sealed, gas-pressurised construction helps reduce cavitation and keeps damping more stable as the shock works hard. This unit includes rebound damping adjustment to fine-tune feel and control.
Design & features
- 46 mm shock body architecture
- Closed, pressurised design for more consistent damping and reduced fade
- Oil and gas are separated by an internal piston (not an emulsion shock)
Tuning Controls
- Rebound damping adjustment
Base Setup (factory preset)
Delivered with a factory baseline setup intended as a starting point for typical road and mixed-surface use. Fine tuning is done primarily through the rebound adjuster to match rider preference and conditions.
Who is this for?
- Riders who want a serviceable, consistent shock for everyday riding and touring
- Owners who prefer straightforward adjustability focused on rebound control
Serviceability/Lifecycle
As a sealed, pressurised shock, it is designed to be maintained over its service life. Routine servicing helps keep damping performance consistent as kilometres accumulate.
