Tuning controls

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with an Ohlins base setting intended as a starting point. From there, small changes to rebound and preload can be used to match your load, tyres and preferred ride feel.

Before you install

  • Confirm fitment for BMW K 1200 LT and check clearance around the shock body and hose routing for the remote preload adjuster
  • Set static and rider sag after installation to suit your usual load
  • If your bike is used with frequent load changes, note your preferred preload and rebound settings for repeatability
