The Ohlins BM679 TTX 36/TTX 39 Adventure front shock is built for the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure where consistent damping control matters over mixed surfaces and long days. Shock design & features

This is a TTX-series front mono shock using a separated oil and gas layout for consistent damping performance. The design is intended to reduce fade and keep response stable when the shock is working for extended periods. The unit is supplied with an Ohlins spring fitted.

Tuning controls

External adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing changes without disassembly. These controls let you balance support, comfort and front-end grip depending on riding conditions and setup preferences.

Before you install

Notes for this application: an ESA version can trigger a warning light on the display; this does not affect the bike’s performance. As with any suspension change, check overall setup after installation and ensure fasteners and clearances are verified during fitment.
