Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 Adventure-series rear mono shock with oil and gas separated for more consistent damping over sustained, rough conditions. The architecture is designed to maintain damping control as temperatures and workload increase, helping the rear tyre track the ground more predictably.

Tuning controls

External damping adjusters are provided for both rebound and compression, allowing the rider to tune response for load, road surface and riding style. A spring preload adjuster is also included to help set ride height and balance when changing between solo riding and heavier touring loads.

Confirm fitment for your exact BMW model and year within the K 100 / K 75 range, and follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s torque procedures during installation. After fitting, set sag and preload first, then fine-tune rebound and compression to suit your typical load and surfaces.
