The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Ducati Monster 1100S is built to improve control and feedback in everyday road riding. Developed from race-derived suspension architecture, it focuses on consistent damping feel and stability when braking, turning and driving off corners. It’s suited to riders who want clearer chassis response and the ability to tune the rear end to their preference.

Ohlins road shocks are designed around predictable damping control and repeatable adjustment. The STX 46 Street line is aimed at street-focused performance with a robust, serviceable layout.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised monotube rear shock designed to resist damping fade during longer or harder rides. The internal layout separates oil and gas to help maintain consistent damping behaviour as temperatures and loads change.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping, allowing you to tailor how quickly the rear suspension extends after being compressed. Spring preload adjustment is also used to set ride height and support for rider weight and load.

Who this shock is for

Ideal for Monster 1100S riders chasing a more controlled rear end without turning the bike into a track-only setup. It suits spirited road riding where stability, traction feel and clean recovery from bumps matter.

Before you install
