Information

The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP is built to deliver clear feedback and controlled damping for real-world road riding. It’s a mono shock designed to improve stability and traction when the pace picks up, while retaining ride quality over imperfect surfaces. This unit uses a separated oil/gas layout to help maintain consistent damping during longer, harder rides.

Ohlins road shocks are developed from the same damping principles used in competition, then refined for predictable behaviour on the street. The focus is on stability, support and feel at the tyre contact patch, so the bike remains composed through braking, turn-in and drive.

Base setup (factory preset)

This shock is supplied with an Ohlins baseline setting intended as a practical starting point for road use. Final adjustment should be made to suit rider weight, tyres, road conditions and preferred balance.

Before you install

Confirm model compatibility and check linkage, bearings and mounting hardware condition before fitting. After installation, set sag and then adjust rebound and compression in small steps so changes can be felt and verified safely.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Ohlins units are serviceable and intended to be maintained to keep damping consistent over time. Regular inspection for leaks and bushing wear, along with periodic oil and seal service, will help preserve performance.
