The Ohlins HO839 STX 36 is a rear scooter shock developed to improve damping control and chassis behaviour on the Honda Foresight FEZ 250. It uses a gas-pressurised damping system to help maintain consistency as conditions change. The focus is predictable response and clearer feedback for everyday road use.

Who this shock is for

Suited to riders who want a more controlled, planted feel from the rear of their Foresight FEZ 250. Ideal if you are chasing improved composure during braking, cornering and acceleration compared with a tired or underdamped original unit.

Shock design & features

This model is a gas-charged, emulsion-style monotube shock design, using a single tube with the damping piston working in an oil and gas environment. The architecture is intended to keep damping response consistent and reduce fade during sustained use.

Tuning controls

This shock provides damping adjustment for both compression and rebound, allowing you to tailor support and control to your load, road conditions and riding preference. Spring preload adjustment is also used to set ride height and balance with rider weight.
