The Ohlins HO801 STX 46 Adventure rear shock is built to improve control and comfort on the Honda VFR800FI when conditions and loads vary. It’s designed for consistent damping support across rougher surfaces and longer days in the seat. External adjusters let you tune the feel to suit your riding and the gear you carry.

Ohlins suspension focuses on stable chassis behaviour and predictable feedback. This rear mono shock is intended to give the VFR800FI better composure and ride quality in adventure and touring use.

Shock design & features

This is an Ohlins STX 46 Adventure rear shock with a monotube layout and a separating piston design to keep oil and gas separated for more consistent damping. It’s a direct-fit unit for the rear position and is supplied with an Ohlins spring as listed for this model.
