Shock design & features

This STX 36 twin shock design uses a pressurised damping system with separated oil and gas to help maintain damping consistency as conditions change. The internal layout is intended to improve control and stability compared with non-pressurised or simpler designs.

Tuning controls

This model provides external adjustment for rebound damping and spring preload, allowing you to tune rear-wheel control and ride height balance to suit rider load and road conditions. The adjusters are intended to make changes straightforward and repeatable during setup.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shocks are supplied with an Ohlins baseline setting, intended as a starting point for general street use. From there, fine-tuning rebound and preload can be used to match rider weight, tyre choice, and how the bike is being ridden.
