The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Yamaha SRX 400 and SRX 600 is built to deliver consistent damping control and clearer chassis feedback on the road. It uses a monotube architecture with separated oil and gas to help maintain stable performance as conditions and temperatures change. The design is intended to support predictable grip and confidence through braking, cornering, and acceleration.

Shock design & features

This is a monotube rear shock with an oil/gas separated layout to support consistent damping behaviour over longer rides. The STX 46 Street platform is designed around controlled piston damping and a serviceable construction for long-term ownership.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to refine how the rear recovers after bumps and how it resists compression under load. These controls let you tune for road surface, tyre choice, and rider preference.

Before you install

Confirm model fitment for Yamaha SRX 400 and SRX 600 and check clearance around the shock body and adjusters.
Inspect linkage and swingarm bearings and replace any worn components to avoid masking suspension performance.
After installation, set sag and then fine-tune rebound and compression to match your load and riding conditions.
