Information

The Ohlins TR821 STX 36 Street rear shock is built to improve chassis control and damping consistency on the Triumph Speedmaster. It’s designed to deliver clear feedback at the rear tyre, helping the bike stay composed through changing road conditions. Adjustment is provided so you can tailor the feel to your preference without changing the core hardware.

STX 36 Street shocks apply Ohlins damping know-how in a road-focused package. The design targets predictable behaviour and repeatable setup changes, supporting stable handling and confidence across everyday riding and spirited use.

Shock design & features

This is a monotube shock with an internal gas pressurisation design (emulsion architecture). The layout is intended to keep damping behaviour consistent and responsive, with the STX 36 platform built around controlled oil flow through the damping system.

Tuning controls

Rebound damping adjustment to fine-tune how quickly the shock extends after compression.

Suited to Speedmaster riders who want a more controlled rear end and the ability to tune rebound to match load, road surfaces, and personal preference. It’s also a sensible choice if your current shock feels underdamped, unsettled, or inconsistent over bumps.
