The Ohlins YA353 is a rear mono shock for the Yamaha FJR 1300, built around the STX 46 Street platform. It’s designed to deliver consistent damping control and clearer chassis feedback across typical road conditions. This unit uses a separated oil/gas design to help maintain damping stability as temperatures and loads change.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 Street rear shock with a piston-based damping layout and a separated oil/gas system for consistent performance. The architecture is intended to reduce fade and keep damping response repeatable during extended rides.
