The Ohlins YA415 STX 46 Street rear shock is built for Yamaha RD 350 riders who want more controlled damping and clearer chassis feedback on the road. Based on Ohlins monotube architecture, it maintains consistent performance by separating oil and gas to help resist fade. It also provides external adjustment so you can tune the shock to your bike and riding style.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 monotube rear shock with oil and gas kept separated for stable damping behaviour as temperatures rise. The damping layout is intended to deliver predictable response during acceleration, braking and cornering, with a focus on traction and stability.

Tuning controls

External rebound damping adjustment is provided, allowing you to slow or speed the shock’s return after bumps and load changes. Spring preload adjustment is also provided to help set ride height and sag for rider weight and use.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for Yamaha RD 350 and check overall condition of linkage/bushings and mounting hardware before installation.
Set sag and preload first, then fine-tune rebound to match your road conditions and tyre grip.
