The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock is a replacement rear suspension unit designed to improve control and feedback on the road. Built around Ohlins monotube damping, it aims to deliver consistent performance across changing surfaces and riding loads. This unit suits the Honda CB 900F Hornet in a rear mono-shock application.

Ohlins street shocks use race-derived damping concepts adapted for everyday road use. The STX platform focuses on predictable feel, stable chassis behaviour and long-term service support. It is intended as a complete shock replacement, not a modification to the original unit.

Shock design & features

This STX 46 Street shock uses an oil and gas separated design to help maintain damping consistency during sustained use. The monotube layout supports direct damping response and clear feedback through the chassis. It is supplied with an Ohlins spring matched to the application.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to refine how the rear settles after bumps and how it resists compression under braking, acceleration and road impacts. Spring preload adjustment is also included to set ride height attitude and support for rider/load changes.
