The Ohlins KA760 STX 46 Street rear shock is built to improve control and ride quality on the road for Kawasaki VN 900 Classic and VN 900 Custom models. It uses a gas-pressurised design to keep damping consistent as conditions change. The result is clearer feedback and more stable chassis behaviour without making the bike feel harsh.

Base setup (factory preset)

This shock is supplied with an Ohlins baseline setting intended as a solid starting point for street riding. Fine-tuning rebound and preload lets you match the feel to your load, tyres and typical road conditions.

Before you install

Set sag and preload first, then refine rebound to suit your roads and riding style
Inspect linkage/bushings and mounting hardware during installation to ensure the shock can work as intended
After initial rides, re-check fasteners and confirm the setup still matches your typical load
