Information

The Ohlins YA430 STX 46 Blackline rear shock is a replacement rear mono shock for Yamaha MT-07 (FZ-07), MT-07 Pure, XSR 700 and XTribute models. It’s built around Ohlins’ proven STX architecture to improve chassis control and ride quality while keeping a clean, classic Blackline look. With external adjusters for damping and preload, it can be set up for different loads and road conditions without changing the bike’s character.

Developed and assembled to Ohlins standards, the Blackline finish is aimed at riders who want premium suspension performance without a bright, modern race aesthetic. It’s a direct-fit rear shock intended for everyday road use as well as spirited riding.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46-series rear mono shock with a separated oil/gas design to help maintain consistent damping during extended riding. The layout is designed to give predictable support through the stroke and better control over bumps and weight transfer compared with a basic stock unit.

Tuning controls

Rebound damping adjustment for controlling return speed after compression.
Compression damping adjustment for managing support and impact response.
Spring preload adjustment to set ride height and balance for rider load.

Before you install

Confirm the motorcycle model and year compatibility for MT-07 (FZ-07), MT-07 Pure, XSR 700 and XTribute before fitting.
Set sag and baseline adjuster positions after installation, then fine-tune rebound and compression to suit your tyres, load and roads.
