The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Yamaha XV 1600 Wild Star and XV 1700 Wild Star is a replacement shock absorber aimed at improving control and consistency in everyday road riding. Built around Ohlins street-focused damping architecture, it is intended to deliver more stable chassis behaviour over changing road surfaces. This unit is supplied with an Ohlins spring fitted.

Base setup (factory preset)

This shock is delivered with an Ohlins baseline setting intended to suit the standard motorcycle and typical street riding. Fine tuning is then done via the external adjusters to match rider weight, load, and preferred ride feel.

Check mounting hardware condition during replacement and re-torque to the motorcycle manufacturer’s requirements
