The Ohlins YA581 STX 46 Street rear shock is built to improve chassis control and consistency on the Yamaha Tracer 9. It uses a gas-pressurised damping system to maintain stable performance as conditions and pace change. Separate damping circuits let you tune feel and support to better match your load, tyres and road surface.

Tuning controls

This rear shock provides adjustable rebound damping and adjustable compression damping, allowing you to balance support, comfort and grip for your riding conditions.

Base setup (factory preset)

Supplied with an Ohlins baseline setting intended as a sensible starting point. From there, fine-tune rebound and compression to suit rider weight, luggage/passenger use and preferred ride feel.
