The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Yamaha FZ 1 is built to deliver controlled damping and clearer chassis feedback for road riding. Its monotube architecture uses separated oil and gas to maintain damping consistency as conditions change. Adjustment controls allow you to tailor the feel to your bike, load and riding style without turning the setup into guesswork.

STX is Ohlins’ road-focused monotube shock platform, derived from the same design approach used in competition products. The aim is predictable grip and stability across real-world surfaces, with damping behaviour that stays consistent as the shock works harder.

Who this shock is for

Suited to Yamaha FZ 1 riders who want more support and composure than a standard rear unit can offer, especially when riding briskly on mixed road surfaces. It’s also a good fit if you regularly change loads (pillion or luggage) and want a shock that can be reset to suit.
