The Ohlins SU503 STX 46 rear shock is designed as a direct-fit rear mono shock for Suzuki GSX-R 1000 applications. It’s built to deliver controlled damping and consistent feel under load. Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 rear shock for rear mono fitment. It uses a sprung shock body and is supplied with an Ohlins spring already fitted, providing a known starting point for setup work.

Base setup (factory preset)

Ohlins shocks are delivered with a factory baseline intended to suit an average rider and typical road/track use. From there, final setup should be completed to match rider weight, tyres, riding pace and track/road conditions.

Inspect linkage bearings and swingarm pivots and service as needed before fitting a new shock
After installation, set rider sag and re-check fasteners after the first ride
