The Ohlins TTX RT rear shock for Ducati 1198RS09 is built around the twin-tube TTX damping architecture to deliver consistent control through a wide range of conditions. It’s designed as a fitment-specific replacement unit for riders chasing predictable grip and clear chassis feedback. The focus is on stable damping behaviour and repeatable adjustment rather than one-size-fits-all tuning.

TTX technology uses separated oil and gas to keep damping performance stable as temperatures and loads change. The internal layout is intended to reduce cavitation and maintain consistent response during sustained hard use. This is a complete rear mono shock unit for the Ducati application listed.

Tuning controls

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with an Ohlins base setting intended as a starting point for the motorcycle and typical rider use case. From there, rebound, compression and preload can be refined to match rider weight, tyres and riding style.

Before you install

Confirm compatibility with your exact Ducati 1198RS09 configuration and check surrounding clearance, linkage condition and mounting hardware. For best results, set rider sag and then fine-tune rebound and compression in small steps, changing one parameter at a time.
