The Ohlins TTX Flow DV rear shock for the Yamaha YZ 450F is built around Ohlins’ twin-tube damping architecture to deliver consistent control and clear tyre feedback across changing track conditions. This unit uses a separated oil/gas design to help maintain damping stability during sustained, demanding riding. Springs are supplied separately, allowing the build to be matched to rider weight and use.

TTX Flow DV is part of Ohlins’ off-road shock development focused on predictable damping behaviour and usable adjustability. The internal layout is intended to reduce damping change as temperatures rise, helping the bike stay balanced deeper into a session.

Shock design & features

This is a rear mono shock for MX/enduro applications with Ohlins’ twin-tube (TTX) layout. The damping system is oil/gas separated rather than an emulsion design, supporting more consistent damping feel and response through repeated impacts.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external rebound adjustment and external compression adjustment, allowing you to tune chassis attitude and traction to suit track conditions. Compression and rebound are adjusted independently to help you target specific handling traits without overcorrecting elsewhere.

Before you install

No spring is supplied with this shock; it is sold separately.
The notes specify compatible spring series (06310- and 06451-).
A preload adjuster (15000-03) is listed as compatible with this shock.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As a performance shock, regular inspection and servicing will help maintain damping consistency and protect internal components. The recommended Ohlins oil is listed as 01304-.
