Shock design & features

This is an Ohlins STX 46 Street monotube rear shock with a separated oil and gas damping system to help reduce fade and maintain damping consistency. The design is intended to deliver stable performance and repeatable behaviour over a wide range of road conditions.

Tuning controls

Adjustability includes rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to fine-tune how the rear suspension extends after bumps and how it resists movement under load. Spring preload adjustment is provided to set the bike’s ride height and balance for rider weight and intended use.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for Ducati Monster 795/796 and check surrounding clearance, linkage condition and mounting hardware before installation. After fitting, set sag via spring preload first, then adjust rebound and compression to suit your tyres, load and typical road surfaces.
