Information

The Ohlins TTX 44 rear shock for Kawasaki KX 450F is built around Ohlins’ twin-tube damping architecture to deliver consistent control in demanding motocross conditions. It is designed to provide stable chassis behaviour and clear feedback as the track surface changes through a moto. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing you to match spring rate to rider weight and setup preference.

Who this shock is for

Suited to Kawasaki KX 450F riders chasing improved traction, braking stability and corner-exit drive from the rear of the bike. It’s a strong fit for riders and teams who tune their setup regularly and want a shock designed for motocross and enduro workloads.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised shock with oil and gas separated for consistent damping characteristics during extended riding. The TTX twin-tube design separates damping circuits to help maintain controlled response across changing speeds and loads.

Tuning controls

External damping adjustment is provided for both compression and rebound, allowing you to balance comfort, traction and chassis support to suit track conditions. Independent circuits support more targeted changes when refining feel under braking, acceleration and square-edge impacts.

No spring is supplied. Select and fit an appropriate spring from the specified spring series noted for this model.
Confirm fitment and complete setup with correct sag and baseline adjustments before fine-tuning on track.
