The Ohlins KA1893 TTX Flow Shock Rear is built for the Kawasaki KX 250F and developed from Ohlins motocross racing know-how. It’s a rear mono shock designed to deliver controlled damping behaviour and consistent feel across changing track conditions. Supplied without a spring, it’s intended to be matched with the correct spring rate for the rider and application.

Ohlins | Made to race, perfected to ride

Ohlins TTX Flow technology is focused on stable damping performance and clear chassis feedback for motocross and enduro use. The design is intended to help the bike stay settled through braking bumps, jump landings and corner exits while maintaining traction.

Shock design & features

This model uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated shock architecture rather than an emulsion layout. The internal damping arrangement is designed to keep damping response consistent during demanding riding and extended motos.

Tuning controls

The KA1893 provides external adjustment for both compression and rebound damping. This allows you to balance support and comfort to suit track layout, surface condition and riding style, without changing internal components.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is delivered with an Ohlins base setting intended as a starting point. With the correct spring fitted, fine-tuning compression and rebound can be used to dial in ride height, grip and stability for your local conditions.

Before you install

No spring is supplied with this unit. Confirm the required spring series and select the appropriate spring separately before installation, then set sag and damping to suit the bike and rider.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As a rebuildable performance shock, periodic servicing is part of maintaining consistent damping and seal life. Regular oil and wear-part replacement helps keep performance repeatable over time.
