The Ohlins KA1794 TTX Flow rear shock is a motocross rear mono unit designed for Kawasaki KX 250F and KX 450F fitment. Built around Ohlins’ TTX Flow architecture, it aims to deliver consistent damping control and clear feel at the rear tyre. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing you to match spring rate to rider weight and intended use.

TTX Flow is derived from Ohlins competition development, focusing on controlled damping behaviour through a wide range of operating conditions. The design targets stability under braking and predictability when driving out of corners.

Who this shock is for

Suited to riders chasing improved rear-end control and adjustability for motocross use. It’s also a sensible option if you want the flexibility to select your own spring rather than being locked into a supplied rate.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated rear shock using the TTX Flow layout. Independent damping circuits are used to support traction and chassis stability across changing track conditions.

Tuning controls

The shock includes external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tune feel and support to suit track layout, tyre choice and rider preference.

Rear mono fitment for Kawasaki KX 250F and KX 450F.
No spring is supplied; spring is sold separately (see notes for spring series guidance).

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like all performance shocks, regular servicing helps maintain consistent damping and seal life, particularly in muddy or high-hour motocross use. Using the recommended Ohlins oil is part of maintaining intended performance.
