The Ohlins STX 46 Supersport rear shock for the Kawasaki ZX-9R is built for riders chasing clearer feedback and better chassis control. It’s a motorsport-derived mono-shock design intended to deliver consistent damping behaviour under demanding road and track use. Fitment is specific to the ZX-9R rear suspension layout.

Shock design & features

Adjustability includes rebound damping, compression damping and spring preload, allowing you to balance support, grip and ride comfort to suit tyres, load and pace. Separate damping circuits make it easier to tune braking stability versus drive grip without forcing a single compromise.
