Shock design & features

This STX 46 Supersport rear shock uses a pressurised, gas-separated layout rather than an emulsion design. The separation of oil and gas supports more consistent damping behaviour during demanding use. It’s a mono shock intended for rear fitment on the ZX-7R.

Tuning controls

Rebound damping adjustment to manage how the shock returns after bumps and load changes

Before you install

Set sag and baseline adjusters after installation, then make changes one step at a time to isolate effects. If your linkage bearings or swingarm pivots are worn, address those first so the shock can work as intended. Plan for periodic servicing to keep damping performance consistent over time.
