The Ohlins KA805 STX 36 Adventure rear shock is built to improve control and comfort on rough ground for Kawasaki KLX 140G and KLX 150BF models. It’s designed for consistent damping on mixed surfaces, helping the bike stay composed through bumps and changing traction. External adjusters make it practical to tune for terrain and load without workshop time.

Shock design & features

This is a mono shock with a 36 mm piston design and oil/gas separated layout for consistent damping control. The STX platform is designed to maintain stability as temperatures and ride intensity change, while keeping serviceability in mind for long-term use.

Tuning controls

The KA805 provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, plus spring preload to set ride height and support for rider/luggage weight. This gives you the core controls needed to balance comfort, traction, and chassis stability.
