The Ohlins TTX 44 rear shock for Suzuki RM-Z 250 is built around Ohlins’ twin-tube damping concept to keep damping behaviour consistent across changing track conditions. It’s a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design intended for controlled response and repeatable feel. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing the correct spring rate to be selected separately for rider weight and use.

TTX architecture separates and balances damping flow for predictable control through the stroke. The focus is on stability, traction and clear feedback rather than a vague “soft” or “stiff” feel.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjustability for compression and rebound damping, allowing changes to chassis attitude, traction and bump control to be made without internal modifications.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is delivered with an Ohlins base setting to suit the intended application, with fine-tuning handled via the external compression and rebound adjusters once the correct spring is fitted.

Before you install

Confirm the correct spring series and rate is selected, as no spring is included with this unit
Follow standard workshop practice for installation and sag setting
Use the recommended Ohlins shock oil where servicing is required

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like all performance dampers, periodic servicing is part of ownership to keep damping consistent. The oil and wear components are replaceable during routine maintenance.
