Information

The Ohlins KT1884 is a rear TTX Flow shock developed for KTM EXC-F models, aimed at delivering controlled damping and predictable chassis behaviour in off-road conditions. Built around Ohlins’ race-derived architecture, it focuses on maintaining traction and stability when the terrain and pace change. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing the spring rate to be selected to suit rider weight and use.

TTX Flow is Ohlins’ twin-tube rear shock platform, designed to deliver consistent damping and strong control over oil flow for repeatable feel through the stroke. It’s intended for riders who want suspension performance that can be properly tuned rather than simply “stiffened up”.

Suited to KTM 350/450/500 EXC-F and EXC-F Six Days owners looking for improved control and traction in enduro-style riding. It’s a good match when you want more confidence under braking and better stability as speeds and bumps increase.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear mono shock using Ohlins’ twin-tube TTX Flow design. The layout separates the damping circuits to support consistent performance and clearer feedback at the tyre, especially when conditions are rough and grip is variable.

Tuning controls

The KT1884 provides external compression and rebound damping adjustment, letting you tailor the shock to terrain, tyres and rider preference. This makes it easier to balance traction and support without compromising overall stability.

Before you install

No spring is supplied with this unit. Ensure the correct spring series is selected as noted, then set sag and confirm clearances as part of installation. Using the recommended Ohlins shock oil is advised during servicing and rebuilds.
