The Ohlins TTX 44 rear shock for the Suzuki RM-Z 450 is built around Ohlins’ twin-tube damping architecture to deliver stable, repeatable control in motocross and enduro conditions. The design is aimed at maintaining consistent damping behaviour when the pace and track load increase. Spring selection is separate, allowing the build to be matched to rider weight and use.

TTX technology is designed to keep damping performance consistent by managing oil flow in a controlled way across the stroke. The result is a composed rear end that supports traction and chassis balance through changing bumps and braking loads.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external damping adjustment for both compression and rebound, enabling you to tailor rear-wheel control for track conditions, tyre choice and riding style.

Before you install

Confirm the correct spring is selected and installed (spring supplied separately)
Set sag and balance the chassis before making damping changes
Use the recommended Ohlins shock oil where servicing is required

Serviceability/lifecycle

As a rebuildable performance shock, periodic servicing is part of maintaining consistent damping and seal life. Keeping oil condition and gas charge in spec helps preserve feel and adjuster response over time.
